The Joy of Living

When I moved to Los Alamos with my husband and daughter from Boise last August, I didn’t know what to expect. But it didn’t take long for me to feel that I was supposed to be here.

To understand my purpose here, you need to understand my past. In India, I started my career as a professor of economics in one of the world’s largest universities, Calcutta University. I had a Ph.D. in economics and for 20 years I taught there and raised my child.

Life, in every way, was okay. Until, suddenly, things changed. I lost both my parents and my mentor – my beloved uncle – within a short time. Soon after, my husband and I divorced, devastating my young daughter.

To find peace in my life I began reading various psychological, religious and self-help books, but it lead nowhere. I continued to be in despair, and in a last ditch effort I decided to seek the help of a number of renowned spiritual masters in India.

From the masters, I learned many types of energy healing techniques and discovered the mystery of the metaphysical world. I was introduced to the Law of Attraction. In simple terms, this law states that when you strongly believe in what you imagine for your life, you will consciously and subconsciously invoke the universe to manifest that into your life. I decided to manifest a loving husband who could also be a wonderful father to my daughter. I exactly manifested all of that.

Around this time I also stopped teaching economics and followed my heart to study Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching, Reiki, Theta Healing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I am working now with people to help them manifest their dreams and relieve their stress. I am proof that all your dreams eventually can come true.

I am planning to write a series of articles. In each of my articles you will find interesting topics that you can apply to improve daily life to overcome stress. I will be providing you specially designed questions at the end so that you can deeply examine your life and find your truth. This is an effective, introspective process to explore joy of living. I am here for you. And I encourage you to contact me with your questions or comments.
